Powers are a subgroup of [[Schticks (Action)|Schticks]] that do things beyond the norm. There are many heroic and unlikely things a hero can do in an action movie without undue concern for realism, but even in movies there is a limit on what is convincing and what is not. Powers deal with extraordinary abilities beyond the ken of even movie sensibilities.
  
Powers are organized in spheres and traditions. Spheres are where the actual powers are, traditions are the framework that lets you use your powers. Spheres cost xp, traditions don't, but each tradition has its own limitations that must be fulfilled when you use your powers.

Powers are a subgroup of Schticks that do things beyond the norm.
