Rode phantom steeds. Very fast, but thank goodness didn't fly.

Campsite. Sleep.

Went to the stairs.

Honey became fox and scouted ahead.

We sneaked around to our right through the old ruins. It took some time, but as we arrived we weren't in such a bad position as we would have been as if we had tried to take the stairs. I moved a little ahead of the others and tricked two giants up to the very edge near the others. As I threw my dagger into them they avoided falling over the edge down onto the strairs, but at least they fell to the ground grabbing on. Nathaniel and Velicia didn't fail to kill them. I headed onwards and threw my dagger at another giant in a ruin of a house. It attacked back but missed as I rolled out of the way. Honeypot, Nathaniel and Velicia soon joined me and fought the giants. One hit me and I struck back killing it. There were still five giants and three bears fighting us among the ruins and one of the giants used magic. Nathaniel killed two giants in one mighty attack. The giant mage cast its awful magic on us and I felt very weak. I could hardly move at all. I managed to attacked the giant mage back, stabbing it. It returned the favor with a mighty blow and I made a flashy riposte but missed. It was still out of balance so I threw my dagger as hard as I could twice. One hit but the other missed. Still I retreated around a corner of a ruin to hide out of the fight. The giant mage guessed I was there and cast its awful magic on me once again. I returned cartwheeling out from behind the shadows, into the fight killing the mage as I passed it and hid behind a new wall. There were only two bears left and Nathaniel dealt with one and Honeypot tamed the other, at least for the moment. Velicia told us that one stone giant got away, hiding among the stones and ruins.
