When all immediate danger was over Honeypot and I tried to solve the problem with the possibility of Kaven being a traitor.

We talked to him alone while Doro kept guard and Gloriana and Velicia searched through the keep.

He was born in Turtleback Ferry and had gotten in a fight over a woman with a local goat herder with connections.

He had at first been magically charmed by Lucretia and she after charming him blackmailed him

He had told her when the patrol would leave the fort and what way it would take.

He didn't know anymore about her plans.

Velicia wanted to punish him hard. Jakardros wanted to hang him.

Gloriana and Velicia found sonnets written by Lamatar (the ranger boss) to Myriana.

Vale told us that Lamatar sometimes left to walk the wilds

They also found 3 maps and swamp boots

Then Honeypot and Velicia took care of the wounded rangers.

I helped some but I know nothing about it

The house burned down and the flames died down in the rain

The next day the others continue to take care, but I hurry back to Turtleback Ferry. I brought Kaven

Still raining in the morning

I talk to the mayor/priest

He said "Oh, Kaven in trouble again?"

He didn't want to pass judgment.

As I had heard that he had been the cook of the rangers I said that I would take responsibility

The mayor asked if I was of noble birth from Magnimar and I admitted that I am.

He suggested that I was made baroness over this area as it was needed and that he would write to the mayor of Magnimar suggesting it.

I thought of the dead rangers that hung in the council room and the awful wall painting the ogres had done. I didn't know what to say and before I could respond he said, "Good. Then that's decided."

I told Kaven to cook for a try out if he could be my new cook

He was great!

In two days the others returne

then meeting in Mayors house next to church

I heard strange rumbling sound

Got up to look out window. "Can you hear that?"

Velicia yes and said that's a lot of water rushing teleport to roof.

I open door and look

Enormous wave coming down the river

Screaming for people to take cover I ran out and grabbed a kid and ran back inside

Wave hit

We leave after and try to help

Notice an original turtleback ferry filled with children and teacher

Stuck next to handelsbod

Giant turtle pissed off closing

I ran down to the water and threw dagger

Velicia flew out to it and attacked

Honey ran up to water

Gloriana spell

I ran and jumped to the house

Climbing along the wall I reached a window next to old ferry

I opened the locked window

Honeypot talked children into daring to jump to safety within stone building

The others fight turtle and a snake that appeared.

I tried to close to the snake but the current dragged me down along the side of the house. I grabbed hold and pulled back and I moved to protect children

Honeypot succeeded in getting the last children inside

I ran and jumped out to snake and stabbed it. It hurt hard, bloodied

Gloriana lighting

It swam away but another replaced

Honeypot jumped out to turtle

Velicia fought new snake I got it away from us.

We help civilians to church as it is higher up

While helping Velicia and Honeypot notice that drifting tree isn't tree

The mother of oblivion called Black Magga.

It's huge monster with tentacles

It attacked us and caught Honey and Velicia in long dangerous tentacles

Only by pure luck I avoided being hit and grabbed by the awful monster and retaliated by stabbing it back.

It was near impossible to hit.

I tried to get away from the church but once again the water slowed me down. It's hard being so small

Velicia teleport out of its grab and Honeypot slide out of it's grip

I threw my dagger actually wounding it

I tried to draw it away from church

Velicia dominated by it and took a lot of damage

We miss it all the time but get it to chase us instead of people in church

Velicia is squeezed unconscious

Honeypot managed to stabilize her as the water turned red around her

Then suddely it moved on through the village

We survived.

Velicia told us that it was a mother of oblivion and that this creature was called Black Magga and was older than the giants who built all old buildings from thousands of years ago.
