This is a list of important charcter in the Rise of the Runelords campaign.

Player Characters

Dorothea Caiphon

Dorothea is a female rhenne warlock.

Honeypot

Honeypot is a female Satyr bard.

Nathaniel Deverin

Nathaniel is a male rogue.

Nell

Nell is a charming female rogue and the protagonist of Nell's diary.

Velicia

Velicia is a female eladrin wizard.

Mayor Kendra Deverin

Sheriff Belor Hemlock

A flan who inherited the post of sheriff when the previous holder, Casp Avertin, was murdered by Chopper. Belor saw the town through that last terrible night and is generally held to be the man who stopped Chopper’s rampage. In the emergency election that followed a week later, the people of Sandpoint officialized his role, and Belor became the first Flan sheriff of Sandpoint. Honored and eager to live up to Casp’s legacy, Belor changed his last name to its Common translation, from Viskalai to Hemlock, a choice that has endeared him to Sandpoint’s populace but hasn’t sat well with his brother Garridan. Belor’s not-as-secret-as-he’d-like romance with Kaye Tesarani has put further strains on his relationship with his family.

Abstalar Zantus

The new high-priest of Sandpoint is his most accomplished student, a pleasant man. Himself a worshiper of Berei, Abstalar is very open about matters of faith and has slipped into the role of adviser for worshipers of other gods of Sandpoint with ease.

Ezakien Tobyn

A well-loved cleric who sadly perished in the fire that claimed the church.

Cyrdak Drokkus

Owns a massive playhouse, financed entirely by its larger-than-life owner. it certainly competes with the playhouses of Magnimar, a fact that Cyrdak takes great pride in, since he was forced to flee that city for mysterious reasons he’s eager to hint at but reticent to expound upon. Although Cyrdak enjoys flirting with all of Sandpoint’s young women, his romantic relationship with Jasper Korvaski is one of the town’s worst-kept secrets.

-While the rhenne tend to be clannish and insular, Dorothea has little to no contact with her family. A lazy and unruly child from the start, she drifted off, eventually joining a mercenary band. The vague prospect of easy loot and glory appealed to her, and she managed to make a place for herself there. However, her first battle showed that the glories of mercenary life were somewhat overstated. After the battle followed an orgy of violence, rape and plunder that shocked her to the core. Being on the losing side didn't help either.
-As the victors moved on to other victims and richer pickings elsewhere, she lay discarded on the battlefield like a bloody rag doll stripped of dignity, valuables, and life. She stared unblinkingly at the stars, silently screaming "Why?" like any other teenager confronted with mortality and the general unfairness of the universe. And one of the stars answered... and offered a deal.
-Dorothea did not die that night, though she rightly should have. When she walked off the field, she was a different person than when she walked onto it. Just how different remains to be seen.

He would be the first to agree, but he has little interest in the family business. His good looks make him popular with the ladies, and some whisper that he is a "friend" of Shayliss Vinder.
-Nathan is a skilled swordsman, rider, and marksman. He is a member of the Sandpoint militia, mostly because it keeps him from becoming bored. As a child, he read voraciously but showed more interest in tales of adventure and romance than ancient and boring history. Nathan enjoyed the lectures of Magister Gandethus, even if he absorbed little of the knowledge the old wizard tried to impart. Like all the children in Sandpoint, he was fascinated by the mystery of the wizard's basement.
