Effinidih

Effinidih is a very beautiful elven sorceress. She got her training as the slave/adoptee apprentice of the old sea archmage Zarastro, who pampered her highly. She is used to getting her way. She was born on a magical island across the Great Sea, far to the west, and still remembers being rescued by Zarastro from misadventures she had there as a kid. She is beginning to suspect that the old mage Zarastro (picture to the right) had some purpose with abducting her from across the wide sea, that he has some destiny for her to fulfill. She eyes this fate with apprehension. She fancies herself an Askari, and has some skill with the sword. She is also partial to flame magics, though she can wield the other elements with ease. Her Sorcery Schticks are Blast, Divination, Fertility, Flame, Healing, and Weather,.

She met her future husband Abdallah (picture to the left) in Muluk, where she was obliged to help his enemies by flirting with him and tricking him out onto an island to be beaten, but she abandoned her employers after they lost face totally. After a long courtship, he finally proposed, and they were married, much to the surprise of both of them. Effinidih is beginning to really care for Abdallah, after a few years of marriage. Lately, she has decided that Abdallah needs a second wife. They have met a desert princess named Shajar Altair, whom they rescued and sailed around the Crowded Sea on Abdallah's ship with. At first they thought they could seduce her. Shajar saw right through their plans, but did not really mind, so now she is betrothed to Abdallah.
