You teleport to a known location, and leave the link open so you can return.

This works like the Linked Portal ritual, and in addition you create a tenuous connection back to the spot you teleported from. Within the next 24 hours, you can use another Portal Beacon ritual to travel back to this site, just as if there was a permanent teleportation circle there.
