This ritual dedicates an area to a god you worship, and imbues it with radiant energy. The consecrated area is a close burst with a size depending on the Religion check.
Creatures vulnerable to radiant energy have that vulnerability doubled in the area. Further, it is not possible to perform rituals in the area unless they incorporate a heartfelt prayer to your patron, and rituals abhorrent to your patron automatically fail.
If the consecrated area contains an altar, shrine, or other permanent fixture dedicated to shadow, the ritual lasts as long as the altar remains inviolate and for six hours more. Profaning the altar can be done as a standard action with a Religion check sufficient to cover the area to be desecrated on the table below. Alternatively, the altar can simply be destroyed.
A Desecrate ritual can negate a Consecrate and vice-versa as long as the Religion check is sufficient to cover the area to be desecrated.
