You change the appearance and shape of an item into another item of the same type. You can change size, model, fit, color, and other properties that have no game effect. This includes changing the size of armor and changing a holy symbol so that it represents another god. The resulting item cannot be intrinsically valuable or a work of art, but is otherwise well made. If the item carries an Arcane Mark or other unique identifier, these remain.
