Check the option in the discussion page on each class for more recent data.
Power-Swapping
So as to not penalize any would-be armorless fencers, the following power-swap options exist at level 1:
Armor Swap (fencing or martial arts)
- Lose all armor proficiencies.
- If your class had proficiency in leather, gain the Dodge feat.
- If your class had proficiency in chainmail, gain the Heroic Defense feat
Shield Swap (fencing or martial arts)
- Lose all shield proficiencies.
- If your class had proficiency in light shields, gain the Single Weapon Defense feat.
- If your class had proficiency in heavy shields, gain the Single Weapon Stance feat.
Weapon Swap (martial arts)
- You must have done the armor and shield swaps
- Lose all weapon proficiencies from your class (you retain racial weapon proficiencies)
- Gain proficiency in Club, Staff, and Martial Strike
- If you had proficiency with all military melee weapons, choose one type of weapon (such as Heavy Blade); retain proficiency in all weapons of this type.
- If you had proficiency with all military ranged weapons, choose one type of weapon (such as Bow); retain proficiency in all weapons of this type.
- Retain all racial weapon proficiencies.
Martial Arts Traditions
This option is only available to all characters in a martial arts campaign. In other games, it depends on you class and background and how they mesh with the setting.
