These are creatures defined by their minds and relationships to other creatures, rather than to their physical form or essence. The archetypal Folk are Humans, but most aliens in science fiction and most intelligent fantasy races are also Folk.
Fantasy RacesThese magical variants of humans - they can all interbreed, and the offspring will be one of these races (strongly favoring their parents)
ChimerasThese are Folk with non-humanoid parts or traits. |
FurriesThese anthropomorphics can exist in both SF and fantasy. |
