Hollywood consists of most of the old state of California, even if some northern parts of the former state are still occupied by Pacifca. The new nation also holds parts of the former state of Nevada as a "protectorate", including the cities of Las Vegas, Beatty, Tonopah, Carson City, Sparks and Reno. These cities are still not an official part of Hollywood (and thus mianitain their almost tax-free status).

Hollywood has a large population and a powerful economy, but is very insular and self-centered. Foreign policy is practically in the hands of private individuals. Actually, most of the government is in such private hands, often millionaires from other parts of the old USA who moved to Hollywood. The prime example is Howard Hughes.

Hollywood is a an agressive wet state, and can drive effective anti-prohibition propaganda through it's movie industry.

This freewheeling nation is the home of Diane Dale.
