Formerly the richest province in the region, Bogsend lost much when deforestation in Hope's Demise caused the Eline river to swell. Remains of old towns and fortifications dot the marshlands.

The most important settlement is the town of Restenford, on the border to Eline. The only port in Eline and an important stopover on this trade route, Restenford is an independent barony and home to the church of Saramie, Our Lady of Fortune. The Maelesiin clan subsists in the marshlands.

There has been talk of refurbishing the Inarv's Tower ruins, now that Osoerde has become unstable.
