Some rules questions from play:

Accelerated Stealth

How does the Challenge: Accelerated Stealth feat work?

Accelerated Stealth is a challenge for the Stealth skill. Challenges are standard options. Anyone can perform a challenge by taking a -5 (or higher) penalty. The penalties listed in the description for the Stealth skill description are penalties for using the Accelerated Stealth options. This makes sense, but could certainly have been explained better.

The Challenge feat allows a character to perform a particular challenge at a penalty which is 5 less. So, for Accelerated Stealth, the feat allows a character to sneak at normal speed with a +0 modifier as a move action, or a -15 modifier while attacking, moving all out, or charging

Stealth skill

Check: Your Stealth check is opposed by the Notice check of anyone who might detect you. While using Stealth, you can move up to half your normal speed at no penalty. At more than half and up to your full speed, you take a –5 penalty. It’s practically impossible (–20 penalty) to use Stealth while attacking, moving all out, or charging.

Stealth Challenges

Accelerated Stealth: You can move up to your normal speed in exchange for a –5 penalty to your Stealth check. In return for a –20 penalty to your check, you can move faster than your normal speed, such as by running or charging.

Challenge feat

You can perform the challenge chosen under this feat with a 5- point lesser modifier than usual. So, for challenges with a –5 penalty or a +5 DC, you perform them like normal checks. For challenges with a greater modifier, reduce the modifier accordingly. So a hero with Fast Feint, for example, can feint in combat as a move action with no Bluff check modifier (since the normal modifier is –5). You can take this feat multiple times. Each time, it applies to a different challenge or reduces the penalty with an existing challenge by 5 more.
