Zombicide
SCIENCE! In the pursuit of ever greater levels of productivity, Man has twisted plants and animals to his own ends. In so doing, we inadvertently changed ourselves. Now, shambling killing machines roam the ruins of our world. The time has come for... ZOMBICIDE!

Zombicide is a collaborative game for 1 to 6 players. Each player controls between one (for 6 players) and four (solo game) survivors, human trapped in a zombie-infested town. In fact, "survivors" quickly change to "hunters" to smash zombies through and through. However, the team must constantly maintain a balance between survival and slaughter, for as the zombicide continues, the Danger Level increases, and the infected grow in numbers. Any misstep can turn to disaster.

Rules

We use the house rules described below.

Zomvivors

Zomvivors are not used. Instead, survivors gain more wound with increased danger level. See Wounds below.

Wounds

The number of wounds required to kill survivors increases with their level.

Level Wounds
Blue 2
Yellow 3
Orange 4
Red 5

Companions

As stated in Angry Neighbors, a survivor can have a maximum of two companions. This includes dog companions. This is a ruling, not a house rule.

Options

Resurrection

When a survivor is killed by a zombie, it is resurrected in the zombie spawn phase. The newly reanimated survivor counts as a zombie of the type shown in the table below, but can of course be represented by an appropriate zomvivor miniature.

Killed dog companions are resurrected as zombie dogz! Human companions (snipers, handymen, gunmen, searchers) are resurrected as walkers.

Level Type
Blue Walker
Yellow Fatty
Orange Runner
Red Abomination

Dog Food

You can use a canned food card as energy drink for your dog companion!

Patient Zero

For use in "all grey" games with only standard zombies. Toxic Abominations spawn instead of standard Abominations, and will slowly infect the standard zombies on the map.
