Order of Mary Magdalene (Shadowrun)

A spiritual fighting force of the Chatholic Church, the order of Mary Magdalene is a monastic order for women adepts. The order is organized along monastic lines, and has only Monastics but no lay members. Adepts of the order are often refeered to as Warrior Nuns and are considered to be the fighting elite of the church, often deployed against supernatural threats.

Warrior nuns are sworn to abandon worldly posessions, but the church provides them with material support for their missions. This can include heavy armor and weapons or whole batallions of troops if the situation so requires.

Magdalenites are generally seen as superior in virtue to those of The Templars of St. George.
