Welcome to the Hastur Forum. This set of pages is used to discuss the technical issues, policies, and operations of Hastur. It is intended to fill a role similar to the village pump at Wikipedia. Migration
The import script works, but a few tweaks are still needed. For example, I need to decide decide if automatically added templates should be places at top of bottom of page (or whether to make it selectable). Import notices and warnings should of course be placed on top. The best way to test migration if probably to import this database to another wiki and add pages to it. Once the functionality has been verified (and required templates created) the pages can be imported to Hastur. --Urban 15:01, 2 March 2007 (CET)
A separate template is needed for each PhpWiki to be imported, i.e. {{Dragonstar}} or {{Malleus}}. The Hastur wiki requires several templates since it covers several games. --Urban 15:02, 2 March 2007 (CET)
Organization of content

Several navboxes on the top of the page can look cluttered, especially when they span multiple lines or several boxes are used. See Power Attack for an example. It is probably better to place them at the bottom of the page. Here is a nice example on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D20_system. --Urban 14:05, 2 March 2007 (CET)

- It should be fairly easy to add a separate 'games' menu to the left column. This should reduce the need for navboxes somewhat. Say d20, d20 Modern, Dragonstar, T3, Campaigns, Characters to start with. --Urban 15:01, 2 March 2007 (CET)
