In the face of massed hordes of undead, monstrous and human death-cultists our heroes advance to seek out the Lich.

Brother Gates spots the undead wizard as he tries to make his escape towards the great stairs. For such a mighty creature it is a cowardly monstrosity and using the miracles bestowed upon him by Shauntea, Brother Gates Teleports to it and uses a Quickened Heal and blasts the unlife from the liche. What few of the death cultists that remain after the onslaught of the adventurers flee in terror.

As they journey through the lands of Lord Soffledit they are hailed as heroes and protectors of the land and honour and riches are bestowed upon them.

Little do they know that a liche has a phylactery and somewhere the undead wizard is slowly rebuilding a physical form.

Will he seek revenge? Only the future will tell.
