Thay

A former slave and a very skilled seamstress.

Marina hails from the northwest and is blonde and blue-eyed. She is soft spoken and chooses her words quite carefully.

She first attempted to flee her slavery and met and married Berling while living in a small village on the outskirts of Thay.

She was, however, inducted into the household and nowadays enjoys the protection of Zárisse as well as having been freed from slavery.

Although far from happy about remaining inside Thay she has come to like her life as a valued member of Zárisse's entourage and knows full well that things could be far, far worse.
