The incense burns steadily, but suddenly eddies appear in the smoke, disturbing shapes indicating the presence of undead.

You can sense undead in a close burst. You sense the number of undead in the area, and the type, health, conditions, and location of each individual present. You cannot sense a particular undead creature if the Religion check is lower than it’s Will defense. The ritual can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of precious metal or lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks it. The size of the burst is equal to the result of your Religion check.
