Imbue Force (Action Powers)
|Templates for Action|
- Main article: Powers (Action)
Attack an opponent from a distance. The range of your strike in meters is equal to your Mind. Damage is normal for the type of attack. If your attack hits, you have managed to keep that opponent at bay for some time. Because your opponent now has a hard time reaching through your guard to strike back at you, your passive Dodge against his Melee attacks is increased by +3 until he hits you or until the end of the round, whichever comes first. This bonus does not stack with any other Dodge bonuses.
You can make melee attacks that do Body +4 Impact damage, soaked by Body.
Stance (Damage Boost)
You can imbue a Melee or Shoot attack with an additional type of damage. The damage of the attack increases by +2 and is resisted by the worst soak value of either attack. This increases the damage by two. This is the same as the Melee Weapon ability Dual Damage. Several kinds of additional damage does not further increase the damage of the attack, but uses the lowest soak value among the types. Force Touch does Impact damage.
You create one or more melee weapons in your hand(s). These function exactly as normal weapons of the type you choose to create, but are magical constructs made of ephemeral materials and not of any particular material a creature might be vulnerable or resistant to. They disappear at the end of any round when it is not in your hand. You must be familiar with a weapon to create it this way. This power can create any melee weapon of Clockwork or lower complexity.
Push an opponent by making a Melee attack that does Body +4 Blunt damage. For each point your damage exceeds the target's Toughness he is pushed one meter away from you. If the target is pushed he loses a shot regaining his balance.
Against immobile objects, Ram Touch does +5 damage instead of pushing them back, breaking what it cannot push.
You may do damage to an opponent with the slightest of movements, wounding them even as you defend yourself from their attack. Use this power after an opponent has unsuccessfully attacked you in melee. He immediately takes Impact damage as if you had struck him, apply his negative outcome as positive outcome on your attack. Damage is your Reflexes +0.
Example: Chou, with a Melee of 15, is fighting Lin, with a Dodge of 15. Chou attacks and ends up with an Action Result of 13, a miss. Chou decides to use No-Strike. Chou takes Impact damage equal to Lin's Reflexes +2, 2 being the difference between Chou's Action Result of 13 and the difficulty, which is 15.
Soul of Force
You can use your body to do melee attacks that do Mind +2 Impact damage, or more if you are using an Implement to improve damage.
