We run a rather wild campaign, and one of the opponents that we have fought are the Star Spawn of Cthulhu, netherworld creatures that awoke with the rising of R'lyeth, that had to be kept away from the mystical machine that could sink the accursed city down below the waves. Now, I publish the rules, so that you all can fight these mystic enemies of mankind. The counter and damage template given here should be printed at 150 dpi. Fold the counter along the dotted lines, tape it to a coin and use it as a standup counter. Star spawn are played using the Entity Rules. WeaponsStar Spawn have Tentacles and Sanity Blasts. Damage TemplateMost weapons have normal effect against Star Spawn except Magnesium. Magnesium will not burn, but instead causes an explosion, instantly making a wound three boxes deep (including the initial box) in each row affected. Drill rockets only do their initial damage; they cannot drill into the alien substance of a Star Spawn. Spawn Characteristics
