Coeranys is a sparsely populated land of moors, mists and marshes. The first settlers were Masetians, millennia ago. Later, the land was settled by the Andu, but never enthusiastically; the climate did not really suit Andu tastes.

The western parts of the country are the most civilized, though still wild by Anuirean standards. The eastern moorlands and plains are home to great herds of cattle, with few settlements.
