Weapons: Minigun (turret), 2xLight Lasers (fixed, linked), Maxiscreamer (burst)
Weapons
Maxiscreamer: The maxiscreamer is an anti-riot device that generates a sonic field around the vehicle. When activated, it counts as a 3d6 Medium Burst nonlethal sonic Damage Field as described in the Super Powers Companion. Targets that end their movement inside the field are hit automatically. The sonic field is painfully loud near the vehicle, but has no game effect on those outside the burst. Activating or deactivating the maxiscreamer is a free action. Cost: $5000, Mods: 1
Design
Armor: Vehicles with more than +4 armor count as having Heavy Armor.[1]
Chassis: Renegades are typically designed on a medium chassis. Interceptors and Road Cavalry Cruisers are based on large chassis.
Hardpoints: In keeping with the Dark Future flavor, vehicle can have a single turret hardpoint (which can have several linked weapons). Other hardpoints are fixed. Bikes must have fixed hardpoints. Trikes can have a turret mount (operated by a gunner).
Passive Weapons: There are sadly no passive weapons (smoke generators, mines, spike mats, etc.) in the vehicle rules.
Mods
Reinforced Chassis: Reverse engineering of stock vehicles in the Science Fiction Companion shows that the Toughness modifier for Reinforced Chassis is +1 and not +2 as written.[2]
