We are currently using Apache on our Urban/LAN, but Tomcat seems to be easier to administer. In the future, we may switch from Apache to PHP. If possible, we should avoid running Apache and Tomcat together as configuring Apache+Tomcat for coexistence seems to be rather complicated.

Requirements

• Ability to run PHP. Our sites are generally static or powered by PHP (PhpWIki, The Gallery).
• Compatible log format.
