Feat Balancing

As an alternative to changing powers, the following feats can be added. Each variant of Commanding Presence gains one of these feats for free. This makes all the power variants below except Window of Opportunity obsolete.

Inspired Attack

Prerequisite: Warlord, Cha 13

Benefit: When you do not have an ally within 2 squares, add your Charisma to the damage of your melee basic attacks.

Special: Warlords with Inspiring Presence gain this feat as a bonus feat.

Reckless Stride

Prerequisite: Warlord

Benefit: Once per round before selecting an ally to be the target of one of your powers, you can pull that ally one square.

Special: Warlords with Bravura Presence gain this feat as a bonus feat.

Resource Management

Prerequisite: Warlord, Cha 13, Int 13

Benefit: Your warlord powers that affects allies can also affect you.

Special: Warlords with Resourceful Presence gain this feat as a bonus feat.

Zone of Control

Prerequisite: Warlord, Int 13

Benefit: Any ally withing two squares are considered adjacent to you for the purpose of warlord powers.

Special: Warlords with Tactical Presence gain this feat as a bonus feat.

Alternate At-Will Powers

Commander's Strike Warlord Attack 1
With a shout, you command an ally to attack.
At-WillMartial
Standard Action      Close burst 5
Attack: Select one target in burst. An ally of your choice makes a melee basic attack against the target.

Hit: Ally’s basic attack damage + your Intelligence modifier.

Furious Smash Warlord Attack 1
You slam your shield into your enemy, bash him with your weapon’s haft, or drive your shoulder into his gut. Your attack doesn’t do much damage—but your anger inspires your ally to match your ferocity.

Attack: Strength vs. Fortitude

Hit: Deal damage equal to your Strength modifier, and then choose one ally within 5 squares. This ally applies your Charisma modifier as a power bonus to the attack roll and the damage roll on his or her next attack against the target. If the ally does not attack the target by the end of his or her next turn, the bonus is lost.

Shield Formation Warlord Attack 1
Your presence is a bulwark of defense in the midst of the enemy.
At-WillMartial, Weapon
Standard Action      Melee weapon
Requirement: You must be using a shield.

Attack: Strength vs. AC
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage. Until the end of your next turn, when one or more allies are adjacent to you, you and those allies gain a +1 power bonus to AC.
Increase to 2[W] + Strength modifier at level 21.

Window of Opportunity Warlord Attack 1
You spot an opening for a quick shot.
At-WillMartial
Standard Action      Ranged 10
Attack: Select one enemy and one ally, both in range. The chosen ally makes a ranged basic against the chosen enemy with a +2 power bonus to the attack.

Hit: Ally’s basic attack damage.

Wolf Pack Tactics Warlord Attack 1
Step by step, you and your friends surround the enemy.
At-WillMartial, Weapon
Standard Action      Melee weapon
Effect: Before you attack, one creature within 2 squares of either you or the target shifts one square as a free action.

Attack: Strength vs. AC
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage.
Increase to 2[W] + Strength modifier at level 21.
