Swashbuckling Ranger

Typical of more advanced societies, fencing rangers use formal fighting techniques rather than armor to guard themselves from danger.

Armor Proficiencies: Cloth
Weapon Proficiencies: Simple melee, military melee, simple ranged, rapier, katar, whip

Trained Skills: Streetwise. From the class skills list below, choose four more trained skills at 1st level. Class Skills: Acrobatics (Dex), Athletics (Str), Diplomacy (Cha), Dungeoneering (Wis), Endurance (Con), Heal (Wis), Nature (Wis), Perception (Wis), Stealth (Dex), Streetwise (Cha).

Class Abilities: Dodge, ranger fencing.

Dodge

You gain Dodge as a bonus feat.

Ranger Fencing

When using a whip or light blade, your ranger melee powers use Dexterity instead of Strength. You cannot use ranger powers with ranged weapons.
