Characters

Characters are created using the rules in Weird Wars Rome.

Occupations

Characters are assumed to be regular roman legionaries. One player must play a decanus. This is likely the most senior legionary in the contubernium.

Legionary

Legionaries are well-trained, highly disciplined heavy infantry.

Requirements: Strength d6+, Vigor d6+, Fighting d6+, Throwing d6+, Shield Wall.

Equipment: Armor (lorica segmentata), helmet (galea), shield (scutum), sword (gladius), two javelins (pila), two sharpened stakes (sudes), entrenching tool (dolabra).

Decanus

A decanus is a non-commissioned officer in command of a contubernium, or squad of eight legionaries. The contubernium may also include a pack mule and a servant.

Requirements: Strength d6+, Vigor d6+, Fighting d8+, Command, Rank (free).

Equipment: As legionary.
