As time has gone by Alak has been taught martial skills by Zhe'raen and LuaXena. Zhaunil and MatronNemalzhi has taught him etiquette and manners. Zarathustriel schooled him in manners theological.
He shows an unsettling affection for LuaXena. The same type of adoring sumbissiveness Nirl has for Zarathustriel although AlakHrae is less extreme than his older brother.
MatronNemalzhi considers it perfectly natural for a young man to show a sound submissive attitude towards females in general and older siblings in particular and has done little to discourage Alak.
