If it talks to you before it eats you, it is probably folk.
Creatures tied to the Mind power form.
These are creatures defined by their minds and relationships to other creatures, rather than to their physical form or essence. The archetypal Folk are Humans, but most aliens in science fiction and most intelligent nonhuman races are also Folk.
Fantasy Races
These magical variants of humans - they can all interbreed, and the offspring will be one of these races (stronly favoring their parents races)
- Dwarfs - Industrious people of the earth
- Elves - Clever party people
- Giants - Survivors of ancient days
- Gnomes - Diminutive tricksters
- Halflings - Diminutive hedonists
- Humans - The people of the center
- Ogres - Slow but powerful
- Orks - The people of rage
Chimeras
These are Folk with non-humanoid parts or traits.
- Briaurs - Antelope-elf halfbeasts
- Centaurs - Horse-human halfbeasts
- Gnolls - Rough and tumble savages
- Minotaurs - Bovine half beasts
- Satyrs - Goat half-beasts
- Saurians - Lizardmen
