Quote

And never again will I complain of my fate!

Background

The son of human parents in Sikak, Haimdullah grew to be a huge ogre, too big for his parents' fishing boat. Reduced to poverty, he was calling out to fate when a merchant came along and offered him a post as porter. He accompanied the merchant into the Pit of the Ghuls, encountering many wile menaces whom the merchant defeated with his magic, but Haimdullah realised that the merchant was in fact a wile Alphatian hesabin. Finally, they came upon a huge boulder, that was absolutely impervious to magic, and Haimdullah almost wore himself out lifting it. Inside was a flying boat, that the hesabin was quick to take and escape on. But Haimdullah threw himself onto the boat, which floundered and sank, crushing the hesabin. Today, Haimdullah works as a porter in Sikak once again, and he never complains about his Fate.
