Build Options

Arcanist Monk

Armor Proficiencies: Cloth
Weapon Proficiencies: Club, dagger, staff

Class Features: Arcane armor, arcane strike.

Arcane Armor

You gain Dodge as a bonus feat.

Arcane Strike

You can make an unarmed attack with a +3 proficiency bonus causing 1d8 damage. You can apply the enchantment bonus of an implement you wield as a an enchantment bonus to this attack and use any properties granted by the implement with this attack.

Mage Armor Warrior

Armor Proficiencies: Cloth
Weapon Proficiencies: Simple melee, military light blades, military heavy blades, simple ranged
Implements: Staff, any light blade or heavy blade. Your blade adds its enhancement bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls and any extra damage granted by a property (if applicable) when used as an implement. You do not gain your weapon proficiency bonus to the attack roll when using your a staff or blade as an implement.

Class Features: Mage armor, staff strike.

Arcane Armor

You gain Dodge as a bonus feat.

Staff Strike

You can use a staff as if it was a one-handed heavy blade with all your Swordmage powers and class features.
