Oscariana |
A sound recodring device; using wax rolls. The device is expensive and the recordings are rather frail and not suitable for production or distribution. However it has applications as an office tool and as a diversion for the wealthy.
Each vax roll can record half an hour of conversation.
The device is reliable if the person to be recorded speaks into the voice tube; in other cases 8such as if it is used to eavesdrop), a reliability roll is required to get an adequate recording.
