In order to get the fortune of rich heiress Angela Carter, her "loving relatives" hired a rogue mage to make her more meek and more easily scared and intimidated. In order to do that, the mage performed an illicit ceremony that bonded Angela's spirit with a baby rabbit. Unfortunately for the relatives, that ceremony also unlocked a hidden magical ability to manipulate temperatures, while Angela's strength of mind proved sufficient to handle them in spite of the added impediment.
