Monastic (Shadowrun)

You have placed their life at the disposal of the church. As a member of a religious order, you enjoy a Middle lifestyle, and all your worldly needs are provided for by the order. But you give up all claims to a worldly life; you do not have material possessions or money of your own. Any money you earn is to be turned over to your order. Gear and equimpent is provided as the order sees fit.

In addition, all monastic orders have certain rules; the two universal strictures are Chastity and Obedience.

Note that you can be a lay member of a religious order without taking this quality. This makes you subject to the general rules of the order and allows access to their secrets, but without full dedication and without renouncing the world.
