Fort Doom is the capital of the Black Eagle Barony.

Map

We need to scan the map. Note: There are fewer dwarves and halflings than on the original map. Any leftover city blocks can be used as winter quarters for mercenary captains and their troops.

Areas of the City

Town Square: The town square is dominated by the palace, temples and official buildings such as the City Watch and Town Hall. A gallow is on permanent display.

Elf Town: This district is located outside the city wall. While most of the inhabitants are elf, it is also home to most of the city's dwarves and halflings. Less refined humanoids live on the other side of the city

Dwarf Block: Most of the few dwarves in Fort Doom live in this city block to the north of Elf Park.

People and Organizations

House Steiner is a successful merchant house. They are on friendly terms with the dwarves, perhaps because the family name means 'of stone' in Nothern Common. The family crest is rampant capricorn (steinbock).

The Elven families Aremiel och Lisannë are competetiors and have a virtual monoply on luxury goods, much of which is imported from Elven lands.

Languages

The Traldar speak western common (Russian flavor). The Hattians speak Nothern Common (German flavor). The Tyathians speak Southern Common (Greek flavor). These languages are more dialects than separate languages.
