The ether has unique properties for transfering vibrations; this device uses the ether as a sounding-box. This allows the Celestial Organ to generate a wide variety of sounds, some eerily beautiful, some strangely harrowing. The device can also be set to amplify natural ether vibrations; some people consider the resulting sounds the ultimate music; others consider them sanity-blasting.
