Boomtown rat was a child when the Riki inviaded, living happily with her friends in Boomtown. She was diagnosed as a mutant, but had a reasonably normal childhood. Then the Rikti invaded. Suddenly, everything blew up, and she had to run, hide, scavage, steal, tinker and eventually fight, just to survive.

Then heroes liberated Boomtown, and the few survivors were evacuated. But Rat, as she was now admirinly known among her peers, did not adjust well to normal life and school. She had become a warrior, and fight she would. G.I.F.T. set her up with some gear, she stole or scavaged the rest, and now she is out to hunt down the ones who ruined her world.

Boomtown Rat is a Mutant Blaster (Fire/Devices) - probably the most power-gamish archetype in the game. And yes, she rocks, especially solo. To compensate, I have tried to avoid hunting with her, instead striving to complete storylines and gain souvenires. I wonder how this will work out.
