A group of young, devout Wizards ask to join the GrandTemple to be able to serve Lolth directly. Since it is unorthodox but not illegal, PriestessZolthra allows this.
Ahriman, Zhe'raen, GhulDril, Yathrinë and Alice go on a trip to an interdimensional bazaar to purchase creatures suitable to use as soldiers.
The bazaar itself is a fairly chaotic place with hawkers plying their trade on every turn. Zhe'raen finds what looks like his own sword in a bargain-box and is told by the vendor that he got it from another salesbeing dealing in corpses.
Intrigued by this he learns that, in a different reality, Zhe'raen offended Lolth in the future and died for his troubles. Seriously creeped out by this he nevertheless purchases his own (?) skull as a reminder of his own mortality.
After some more shopping of first-class weapons and armour from a strange elemntal being they wind up in the slave market where a few baskes of eggs and two lizard-beings are bought as an amusement/experiment for Zhaunil and a few packs of canine humanoids who seem suitable as troops.
After a brief encounter with DevilMother and DevilSon (who frequent the bazaar occasionally) they learn that Alice is of a devil-clan of lower status than DevilMother and her offspring.
After returning home the Dogsoldiers are introduced to the chain of command by Noona.
A military meeting with Zha'nel, WeaponsmasterIoria, WeaponsmasterMorghedil, Zhe'raen and GhulDril ends up in lots of laughter and a brief scuffle.
