Zarathustriel, GhulDril, Nirl and LuaXena go shopping. A small group of junior priestesses from another House makes improper comments and LuaXena decides to teach them a lesson. A brisk and lively brawl ensues with bruises and minor injuries to both parties. HouseNemalzhi comes out victorious if slightly battered.
Something is going on over at HouseNahena. All of the family is gathered along with the core cadre of HouseXyrl to discuss the matter. It turns out that Zha'nel now is the Matron of that house, having disposed of her mother. GhulDril is proud of the girls accomplishment. Zhe'raen is...concerned. Eventually it is ascertained that Zha'nel is in no way opposed to continue the alliance between her house and the others. It is confirmed in a meeting at the GrandTemple. Nirl tries to cheer Zhe'raen up with assurances that being a Patron is a fairly easy job. It is not received well.
Zhaunil starts to realize that Black is not just a Drow with the looks of a Dragon and must come to terms with the fact that her ward is a very different being than Zhaunil.
All of town is awakened brusquely one morning shortly there after. HouseDolreth is morphing, moving! In a feat of magnificent magics they move their entire compound to the ceiling of the cavern! Even Ahriman is a little impressed. Black is sent by Zhaunil to congratulate HouseDolreth to a successful display of skill. She recieves an invitation at a date to be set later in return.
Ahriman learns from Alice that a peddler sells minor Demons in crystal globes. He checks them out, finds them amusing but harmless.
Tassil is upset that his art is virtually finished and refuses to do work. Zhaunil tries to encourage him that all hope of creativity is not lost. At first it seems their different approaches to the creative process threatens their friendship but suddenly they agree to create something together. Something radical and new. Something like...living metal! A fusion of breeding and metallurgy and jewellery!
Something happens at home, however, leaving Zhaunil in a poor mood and she ends this session in a gloomy seclusion.
