Having lost WeaponsmasterXarnael at the party in the PartyPolitics, HouseLlyrmion is destabilized and HouseNahena decides to make a move, getting rid of their millenia-old rivals once and for all.
MatronNemalzhi is asked to supply a minor force in return for some sort of favor.
Ahriman , Velve and Zhe'raen are sent along with a contingent of drow soldiers. Xora sneaks along, disguised as a common soldier.
After some initial planning Velve is sent out to do some reconnaisance where he finds out that the oldest daughter of HouseLlyrmion made a bid for power and has killed not only her mother but her siblings as well, leaving them with but a single Noble Priestess in the entire House.
The assault is a success and Velve yet again slays a Matron (bringing his total to three sofar...). The forces of HouseLlyrmion are well led and highly motivated for some reason. It turns out that in lack of a weaponmaster with any talent for leadership, they had made a commoner General. This fellow, Fraen, turns out to be quite a good fighting man as well as a skilled commander and Zhe'raen manages to convince him that for the sake of his troops and his own life they'd better join up with HouseNemalzhi. WeaponsmasterMorghedil is slightly miffed at this but soon accepts the matter as he and Zhe'raen merrily loot Fraen's library.
Looting the library is exactly what Ahriman does as well. Having captured a promising apprentice commoner wizard, Ahriman makes off with a vast selection of books covering all manner of subjects.
Returning home they find that HouseNemalzhi barely can fit the newfound soldiery into the compound and Ahriman is tasked with excavation new barracks ASAP. Velve is charged with the task of finding food for the new army which actually brings HouseNemalzhi on par with the 15th or 16th house in terms of military force alone.
