A comparatively calm episode where GhulDril encounters a Devil chasing a Wizard. When questioned the Devil introduces itself as TheRedDancer and explains that it has come to collect the Wizard in question since he has not done his part of the agreement they had.
Alas TheRedDancer is halted by a patrol of Priestesses, supported by Zha'nel and so is held in place with wards while the Wizard is dragged off ti the GrandTemple for questioning, torture and execution. GhulDril asks the Devil to come visit sometime.
Meanwhile, Zhaunil and MatronGlavil hatches their Dragon. The beast is healthy and very clever. Clever enough to make Zhaunil nervous. While visiting HouseHasdrubel, Zhaunil notices Xora talking to WeaponsmasterScatha. The latter seems taken aback by something she says and refuses to answer any of Zhaunil's later questioning by use of some clever reasoning. Zhaunil is most frustrated.
Later on, TheRedDancer comes to visit but is refused admittance to the compound by Zhe'raen who is less than amused that his lieutenants show such poor judgement in whom to invite. GhulDril tries to argue that some sort of profitable deal could be struck but finds this to be less than desireable in the eyes of Zhe'raen.
A few days later LuaXena (after having been fed various sweets by Zhaunil) almost wears her mentors ( Zhe'raen and GhulDril ) down as the hyper and tireless girl just seems unstoppable in her desire to be "The Best Ever". Nevertheless her mentors see this as a Good Thing. At least the girl is focused.
Zhaunil has a falling-out with JhulTana and hands her to Zarathustriel for some punishment and education in etiquette.
Velve finally manages to repair the reputation of HouseNemalzhi (Again!) and business slowly turns to normal.
