A young man, a scribe from a commoner family, is being hunted by the City Watch under Zha'nel. Apparently on the orders of the GrandTemple.
Intrigued Zhe'raen approaches PriestessZolthra to find out what goes on. It is revealed that the young man, Sornroos, has been granted prayers in the same manner as Priestesses are, thus weilding divine magics.
Sornroos panics and has flees, fearing for his life since he is convinced that he has comitted some sort of heresy.
Rather than angering Lolth by letting him get killed by someone else PriestessZolthra has decided to bring him in for questioning and further decisions.
The women at the GrandTemple have carefully made sure with Lolth that this is an acceptable approach.
After some initial trouble with a band of geeky intellectuals Zhe'raen ascertians the hiding place of Sornroos and brings him to the GrandTemple (after having eaten pancakes).
It is decided that Sornroos cannot be a man since he is allowed to weild divine spells. Thus, PriestessZolthra and her colleauges, decide he is a novice Priestess and is to be referred to as a female and trained to act and be a Priestess. The young man is very confused and terrified of all the women around him but thanks Lolth for being alive...
