A chain weapon is a slashing melee weapon where the striking surface has been replaced with a chainsaw-like moving edge - either chain saws or serrated edges that vibrate. This technology has been perfected in the DragonEmpire, and chain weapons are as strong and reliable as normal weapons. A chain weapons is powered by a minicell which is good for 100 hours of continous operation. The cell is easily reloaded by plugging the weapon into a wall socket through a standard power cord.
Chain weapons cause +3 damage. The weapon also weights twice as much as a regular weapon.
The ChainWeapon modification is incompatible with other weapon modifications, such as KeenBlade.
