The Marine Combat Badge is awarded to Marines who have distinguished themselves in combat.
Description
The badge is made of silver-colored metal, and depicts the Marine symbol of a sword and crossed thunderbolts over a laurel wreath. There is no ribbon. The badge is worn on the left side of the chest under any medal ribbons.
Qualification
The Marine Combat Badge is awarded the first time a Marine recieves a Commendation for a combat mission.
