Greyhawk Elemental elites are remnants of the elite fighting forces of the Temple of Elemental Evil. Destroyed multiple times, these fighting arts have been imitated by others and now has a small but dedicated following. Unfortunately, conservative protectors of the peace near the former temple site are likely to be very suspicious of anyone displaying these talents.

Elemental elites have all the class features of fighters, except as noted.

Alignment Any. Once upon the time elemental elites served chaotic evil patrons and were similarily aligned, but the arts are no longer kept secret.

Elemental Elite Weapon Training (Su)

Starting at 5th level, a elemental elite can select one group of weapons. Whenever he hits with a weapon from this group, he inflicts 1d6 additional energy damage. Once this selections is made, it cannot be changed. Additional damage is not multiplied on a critical hit.

The elemental elite must select an energy type (acid, cold, electricity, or fire) when he first takes the class. All his elemental elite weapon training attacks do this kind of energy. If the elemental elite has an elementa affinity from race, bloodline, or otherwise, she must select the corresponding energy type. Every four levels after level 5 (9th, 13th, and 17th), a elemental elite becomes further trained in another group of weapons. He gains 1d6 bonus damage of the same energy type when using a weapon from this group. In addition, the bonuses granted by previous weapon groups increase by 1d6. Bonuses granted from overlapping groups do not stack. This replaces weapon training.
