Heroic Action Role-Play

This is a Method for using Powers in Action. Methods are a part of Traditions and define how Powers are used in each campaign.

Attention

Your power is shaped by images and/or calligraphy. What you draw can vary by tradition.

Limitation

You must draw as you use your powers. You must be free to draw and have some kind of medium to use your powers. You can draw on a slate, book, wall, in sand or dirt, or even in the air using cantrips or powers. The drawing must last at least for a few minutes and serves to give information about your use of power. When you use powers with lasting effect, you leave a drawing as a focus for the power.

If you as a player describe what you draw to focus a power, verbally or in a rough sketch, you can take a Basic Action to focus.
