Disguise: Conceal Identity
Without actually assuming another appearance, you merely conceal your own identity. This works like a normal attempt at disguise, with modifiers for how familiar creatures are with you rather than with a creature you try to impersonate. In addition, you gain a modifier based on the amount of clothes you are wearing.
Table: Disguise Identity Modifiers
Clothing Worn | Disguise Modifier |
No or very light clothing; nightgown | -5 |
Normal clothing or light armor; artisans outfit | +0 |
Hood, mask, or helmet; medium armor | +5 |
Concealing robes, heavy Armor with helmet; hell knight armor | +10 |
You can conceal your identity as a standard action, but take a -10 penalty for doing so. If you have any ability that allows you to assume a disguise faster than normal, you can use disguise identity as a standard action at no penalty.
Disguise: Hide in Crowds
By assuming a generic appearance, one that fits with a crowd of people, a character can use the Disguise skill as if it was Stealth as long as he is a place where the assumed disguise would be ubiquitous. This works even to pass security checkpoints, as long as people of the disguise's general description would be allowed through. All normal Disguise modifiers apply.
