Bodyguards are very popular in the Dragon Empire, and the Devoted Defender is the best there is. Trained by House Deserene on PlanetGalador, not all DevotedDefenders are good and lawful, but all are willing to put theirlife on the line for another. Some do it for a cause, others for profit, but the fundamental willingness to sacrifice is what the school is looking for in it's candidates.
