A Campaign Badge is awarded to all troops who have participated in a military campaign. For most campaign, the Marine Expeditionary Medal is awarded. For important campaigns, a unique medal is issued for each campaign.
Qualification
In game terms, a campaign is an extended mission (with a duration of more than one month). Any trooper who has participated in an operation (even if only on a short mission) qualifies for this award. This symbolizes the most common mission for the corps, a drop on a planet.
Description
The Marine Expeditionary Medal is is made of bronze and silver, and depicts a stylized planet over crossed thunderbolts. A sword, point down, is thrust through the planet. The medal is worn on a brown ribbon with red and white stripes.
