The robed summoner is closer to a sorcerer than most, combinig summoning with dangerous magical attacks.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency
A robed summoner is proficient with all simple weapons. Robed summoners are not proficient with armor or shields, and cannot ignore spell failure chance when casting spells in armor.
Improved Mage Armor (Ex)
A robed summoner begins with mage armor as a bonus known spell. At 8th level, and every 4 levels thereafter, the armor bonus provided the robed summoner when he casts mage armor on himself or his eidolon increases by +1.
Force Spells
Add the following to the robed summoner's spell list at the indicated levels.
- Magic missile
- Pilfering Hand
- Twilight Knife
- Telekinetic Charge
- Leashed Shackles
- Mage’s Sword
This replaces the bond senses ability.
